Water from the Rock

In Exodus 17:1-7, we studied how the people's quarreling revealed their hearts while God responded with mercy at the rock. Because Christ is that spiritual Rock who was struck for us to provide living water, we are invited to trust His past faithfulness and drink from Him alone rather than testing Him in our present difficulties.
